FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Location: Michigan Central and Northern
Keystone Drill Services is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to provide on-site support, maintenance, and repair services for drilling equipment and supplies. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues, installing new components, and ensuring customer equipment operates efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with drilling equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.​

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and repair drilling equipment, including drill rigs, pumps, compressors, and other related machinery.

On-Site Support: Travel to customer locations to provide scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and technical support.

Installation & Testing: Assist in installing new equipment and conducting performance tests to ensure proper functionality.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues efficiently.

Customer Training: Provide basic operational training and maintenance guidance to customers.

Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, reports, and parts inventory.

Safety Compliance: Follow all company and industry safety guidelines while working on-site.

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure customer needs are met.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Experience: 2+ years in field service, maintenance, or repair of drilling or heavy equipment.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to comprehend specs sheets for equipment.

Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly and efficiently.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy parts, work in various weather conditions, and travel frequently.

Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver’s license required; CDL or industry-specific certifications are a plus.

Communication Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills to explain technical issues clearly.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary Range: $25 - $40 Salary (based on experience)

Company Vehicle: Provided for field service work.

REQUIREMENTS:

Basic knowledge of computers Microsoft Office Suite

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

CAT and Cummins computer Knowledge preferred but not required.
